This short video walks you through the four-step process from the client dashboard to a successfully uploaded return, ready for analysis. | **Duration:** ~2 minutes  \|  **Presented by:** Josh Schultz (Director of Implementation) | | --- | #### **Step-by-Step Instructions** 1. **Navigate to the client dashboard** and select Data & Documents on the left-hand side of your screen. 2. **Select Access to Questionnaire** in the Tax Planning section. 3. **Verify the tax year and filing status** — make sure both are correct before uploading, as these drive all subsequent calculations and insights. 4. **Click the upload button** and drag-and-drop or browse to select the client’s tax return PDF. The platform will begin processing immediately. #### **What Happens Next** Once the tax return is uploaded, FP Alpha reads the document using AI and populates the client’s tax data across the platform. This data flows into the Tax Snapshot (Video 2), the Tax Projector, the Roth Conversion Simulator (Videos 4 & 5), and generates actionable planning insights.
